From affordable volume housing to bespoke self-build and commercial projects, ThermistudTM – a closed timber wall panel system – can help you to deliver better quality buildings, at speed, through off-site manufacture. The core of the panel is an engineered stud, used for its ability to reduce thermal bridging through the panel. The ThermistudTM panel uses Isover mineral wool insulation between the studs, which is hand fitted to reduce voids and slumping. The panel is supplied with membranes, service zones and externally fitted battens.

ThermistudTM is a BOPAS approved system, and can be supplied with Roof Trusses or our panelised roofing system, I-RoofTM, for a complete building structure. The system can be used with traditional or lightweight external cladding, dependent on your project’s needs.

In addition, you can balance and optimise the building fabric to meet your specific needs through our full thermal engineering service, which includes Psi and SAP calculations.

ThermistudTM was developed as part of the eHome2 project, an innovative concept house built in a climatic chamber.
