About Us

Saint-Gobain Off-Site Solutions’ vision is to be the market leader in lightweight and sustainable off-site construction. Construction faces a number of challenges, including the move towards low carbon homes, the growing skills shortage in critical roles and the need to deliver high performing buildings that meet society’s changing needs in a safe and sustainable way. We believe that off-site construction has a critical part to play in meeting those challenges. And with in-house designers and a dedicated and established network of factories across the country, we know how to deliver.

We have developed a full range of solutions, to allow us to deliver an integrated supply chain that can support our customers from design to installation. We combine this with access to the full range of Saint-Gobain materials, knowledge, and services. We believe that makes us a unique partner within the industry.

We have solutions to support a wide range of building types, whether residential or commercial, new build or fit-out. Our solutions are developed in collaboration with our customers to help create high-performing buildings that combine comfort, sustainability, and performance.

Sustainability

Saint-Gobain is a global business that has sustainability at its core. In November 2020 the entire group had our net-zero carbon targets endorsed by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) – your assurance that the goals we have set for ourselves are measurable, deliverable and realistic. In addition to our commitment to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050*, we have committed to additional near term targets to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 33% by 2030*.

Our purpose is to “Make the World a Better Home”, and the Off-Site Solutions division believe we’re ideally placed to help our customers do just that. We’re constantly working to provide solutions that reduce carbon emissions, protect natural resources, and address rapid urbanization.

In addition to sourcing as sustainable materials as possible, the solutions we design and manufacture off-site maximise material yield in our factories and create minimal waste on site, ensuring that valuable resources go further. And crucially, the homes and buildings we create provide promised thermal performance for the lifetime of their operation – meaning that their occupants use less energy to stay warm and comfortable.

We understand that the sustainability issues are multi-layered and fast-evolving so we collaborate across the industry – not just with customers and suppliers, but also with organisations including the Supply Chain Sustainability School – to ensure that we follow the latest industry innovations.
